Proper Lifting Techniques for Low Back Pain

In this short video I show you how to avoid low back pain when bending to pick up small objects from the floor. The technique used in this video is called the Golfer's Lift. By lifting the opposite limb while reaching down, the pelvis and low back lock and this prevents flexion of the low back.
