How the weather INCREASES your pain

I'm sure you've heard a friend or relative say that they know when it's going to rain or a storm is coming because their joints start to hurt more. Well let me tell you, they're not lying to you and it all comes down to physics.

As the atmospheric pressure outside lowers, injured tissues in your body will start to expand and put pressure on surrounding nerves, causing an increase in pain.

I hope the video helped you understand how bad weather affects your joints (yes including your back) and one simple thing you can do to relieve some of the pain is to use a heat pad in the injured area and remain active.
