    Always helpful, thanks. I had a discectomy in 2008 and have been pretty fit since then, However, people tell me I look stiff when I am playing golf, tennis, skiing etc. I think I’m still protecting the old injury! Any new exercises would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Diana

      Hi Diana,

      Thanks for stopping by the blog. Aside from the exercises in the video, swimming is a very good exercises for the overall strengthening of back (and the rest of the body) without putting a lot of tension/pressure in the joints because you’re floating. Try it out and see if the helps you to loosen up a bit more.

    Hi Doc, thank you truly appreciated the video for lumbar disc herniation I will try to exercise it and I also use tens unit electrode whenever I feel lot of back buttock down to my calf , have a good night
